Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Sydney's North Shore area is seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our group homes across Ryde, Eastwood, Denistone, and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate, person-centered support across mornings, afternoons, and overnight shifts in a 24/7 roster.

We offer world-class training, opportunities to complete a Certificate III in Individual Support, and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week (20–25 hours).
• A current NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 minimum).
• Experience in a support role, such as disability support, nursing, assistant in nursing, or aged care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised support in a group home setting (with possible shifts in Lifestyle/day programs).
• Assist clients with daily living activities including mealtimes and personal care.
• Administer medication and assist with mobility using equipment.
• Support clients to engage in and participate in their communities.
• Encourage clients to make their own choices and build independence.
• Monitor client well-being and report progress.
• Support clients with transport, including driving the CPA minivan.
