Job summary

The Disability Justice Coordinator role at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing VIC supports people with disabilities who are involved with the criminal justice system. You assess needs, coordinate forensic disability supports, and advocate across services to help with court processes, bail conditions, parole, or orders.

• Experience coordinating forensic disability supports in a justice context.
• Ability to navigate court processes, bail conditions, and orders.
• Strong liaison with NDIA and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate support and services for clients involved in the justice system, reducing reoffending through a comprehensive approach.
• Undertake complex assessments, develop and review justice-based plans, set goals, monitor progress, and refer as needed.
