Job summary

SA Health is seeking a Director, System Access and Capacity within the Department for Health and Wellbeing to drive system, procedural and cultural change to improve access to care across South Australia’s hospital system. You will shape strategy, oversee delivery, and work with multiple health partners to realise strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Director, System Access and Capacity portfolio within DHW to drive system and cultural change.
• Collaborate with Health System Reform Groups, State Clinical Lead, and related committees to co-design and implement interventions.
• Oversee DHW Unplanned Care and System Access and Capacity Teams and ensure delivery of required outcomes.
• Build and sustain relationships across DHW, Local Health Networks, SA Ambulance and other health agencies.
