Job summary

The University of Melbourne is seeking a senior leader to oversee university-wide student administration across the enrolment lifecycle. You will drive service innovation, technology-enabled transformation, and continuous improvement to enhance student and staff experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification with extensive leadership experience in complex multi-stakeholder organisations (preferably higher education).
• Experience leading shared services and service optimisation to improve efficiency and quality.
• Proven track record in change management and continuous improvement in regulated settings.
• Experience driving technology-enabled transformation to improve access, efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end student administrative services, ensuring high-quality, timely, and consistent support across the entire student lifecycle.
• Develop and execute strategy for student administration, informed by stakeholder feedback, benchmarking and best-practice standards across the sector.
• Build and lead a high-performing, future-ready workforce through planning, capability development, performance management and succession.
• Drive transformation and service innovation, optimising processes, channels and technologies to improve experience and efficiency.
• Ensure governance, compliance, reporting and risk management for student administration, including ownership of enterprise systems.
