Job summary

Urbis Ltd is accepting applications for a Director in Social Impact Advisory (Government) to influence policy, investment and reform across Australia. You will work with federal and state clients, lead advisory engagements and craft strategies aligning public policy with measurable outcomes.

Based in Sydney, you will mentor teams, build executive relationships across government and philanthropy, and help Urbis capitalise on new government panels while delivering social impact and practice growth.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, Sustainability, Finance, Business, or equivalent exec-level experience.
• 10+ years in private consulting, government, investment, philanthropy or professional services leading complex advisory engagements.
• Deep expertise in a high-growth sector with public sector exposure.
• Proven ability to influence senior decision-makers and drive growth.
• Strong commercial capability including business development and client leadership.
• Ability to lead high-performing teams and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex advisory engagements on public policy, funding reform and social outcomes.
