The Department of Health Victoria – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Manager, Public Health Platforms, a senior leadership role responsible for strategic oversight, governance and continuous improvement of Victoria's communicable disease epidemiology and surveillance systems.

Acting as the business subject matter expert, the position leads key projects to strengthen data collection, analysis and reporting to support decisions and improve health outcomes for Victorians.

Qualificações

• Postgraduate qualification in epidemiology, data and surveillance, public health, or related field is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a team of professionals.
• Significant experience in communicable disease epidemiology and public health surveillance, data and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Leads a team of specialised professionals in data and information management, epidemiology and surveillance.
• Works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose systems for data collection and storage of notifiable conditions.
• Provides leadership to embed effective surveillance across the public health network and collaborates with partners for monitoring and reporting.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, project delivery and people management capabilities to drive innovation and system excellence.
