Job summary

SafeWork NSW is seeking a Director TestSafe to provide strategic leadership of a highly specialised organisation delivering accredited testing and certification services. You will ensure governance, risk management and regulatory compliance while stewarding budgets and assets.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, build relationships with regulators and industry stakeholders, and shape safety outcomes across NSW through modern, risk-based regulation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience leading complex operational or technical services.
• Strong experience in organisational governance, risk management and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver organisational performance.
• Experience managing significant budgets, assets and resources.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across government, industry and regulatory environments.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
