About the Role

Leading independent girls school Camberwell Girls Grammar presents an opportunity for a Director of School Operations to join our team on a full-time basis in 2026. Reporting to the Deputy Principal you will be responsible for working closely with staff to drive and improve the operational capacity of the whole School and support the effective day-to-day running of the Secondary School.

The Director of School Operations is a 3-year tenured position which is attached to an ongoing teaching position with an approximate 0.5FTE teaching load.

Responsibilities
  • Leading a team comprising of the Timetabler and the Daily Organiser with ultimate responsibility for the Secondary school timetable duty rosters and replacement staff;
  • Managing the School calendar incorporating all academic and broader community events across the School;
  • Managing operational activities such as the excursion and incursion process the coordination of staff and students to major off-site events and desk allocations;
  • Supporting special events including orientation and scholarship days;
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of NAPLAN internal assessments and occasional external assessments.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within a school operations environment
  • Tertiary degree with teaching qualification
  • VIT Registration
  • Current Police Check
