A leading property management firm in Sydney seeks an experienced Operations Lead to oversee multi-site operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality and is capable of driving operational excellence while managing a dynamic team. This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $130k - 145k with superannuation. Strong leadership skills and a focus on guest experience are essential for this role.
Our PE-backed alternative property business is looking for an experienced Operations Lead, with previously hotel/hospitality experience.
You'll be stepping into a role that requires both tactical execution and strategic foresight — someone who can stabilise and elevate the performance of a more junior, energetic team while implementing scalable systems.
My client is in the business of disrupting a stagnant sector with a unique focus on client well‑being and sustainability. They have experienced rapid growth, strong customer loyalty and success expanding in Australia over the last five years and are now going through a period of rapid scale‑up and global expansion, offering the chance to join a growing business at a pivotal stage of growth.
The Director of Operations is a senior leadership role with national accountability for operational excellence, team performance, and the execution of growth strategy across Australia.
You're an operational leader with proven execution skills — someone who doesn't just strategise, but gets things done.
You've led multi‑site operations teams before, ideally across cities or regions, and you know how to balance tactical firefighting with longer‑term systems thinking.
You thrive in dynamic, fast‑growth environments where agility and adaptability matter more than rigid playbooks. What matters most is that you have end‑to‑end operational exposure, understand revenue and cost drivers, and can think commercially while maintaining a relentless focus on guest experience.
You're a natural people leader who can take a junior team on a journey — coaching, developing, and lifting performance while building a high‑trust, accountable culture.
