Position Summary:

Titomic, a global leader in Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing and Titomic Kinetic Fusion™ technology, is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development – APAC to lead growth across Defence, Aerospace, Maritime, Space, Energy, and Industrial sectors. Reporting to the President, Titomic APAC, this senior role drives new business creation, strategic partnerships, and customer capture across the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate combines a strong network in defence and advanced manufacturing with the ability to translate strategy into measurable revenue results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead creation and execution of the APAC business development pipeline.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new commercial opportunities and government programs.
  • Manage end-to-end opportunity capture—from early engagement through proposal, pricing, and contract award.
  • Serve as Titomic’s key representative to Commonwealth, State, and Defence agencies.
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with Primes, integrators, and SMEs.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a Canberra presence to strengthen government and industry engagement.
  • Coordinate across Titomic’s global BD community (US, Europe, Australia) to leverage shared resources and cross-regional opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence, revenue forecasting, and growth strategy insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10–15 years’ experience in business development, capture management, or strategy within Defence, Aerospace, or Advanced Manufacturing.
  • Proven success winning contracts with the Commonwealth of Australia, Defence Primes, and major industrial customers.
  • Strong understanding of Defence acquisition, grant, and innovation programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (required).
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for NV1 or higher clearance (required).
  • Knowledge of cold spray or additive manufacturing technologies is desirable but not mandatory.
