Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an Associate Director/Director in Investment Governance & Manager Research for a large wealth management platform in Sydney. The role spans governance, manager research, and due diligence with exposure to senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will lead or support governance frameworks, onboarding, and ongoing oversight, ensuring compliance with mandates and risk parameters across multiple asset classes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience across investment manager research and governance.
• Experience leading or supporting investment and operational due diligence.
• Understanding of investment governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Exposure to strategic asset allocation and investment strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of investment governance frameworks and policies.
• Oversee manager selection, monitoring and onboarding processes.
• Contribute to investment committees with analysis and recommendations.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on managers and strategies.
• Manage relationships with risk, compliance, legal and external managers.
• Assist with responses to regulatory and governance requests.
