Atlas Partners is partnering with a major Victoria public health service to recruit a Director Business Partnering, a senior finance leader reporting to the CFO. The role leads the Finance Business Partnering function across a multi-site hospital group, balancing budget cycles, forecasting, and a sustainability agenda with complex funding streams.

• Driving improvement across financial processes, systems and reporting using technology and automation

Atlas Partners is proud to be partnering with one of Victoria’s major public health services on the appointment of a Director Business Partnering, a senior finance leadership role reporting directly to the CFO.

The organisation serves one of Melbourne’s fastest growing communities through a network of hospitals and community and mental health services. This role leads the Finance Business Partnering function at the centre of that organisation.

About the Role

Two things sit at the centre of this role. The first is the technical weight of a large, multi-site hospital group: the budget cycle, forecasting, management reporting, business cases and the financial sustainability agenda, all shaped by activity based funding, diverse income streams and clinical service variation.
The second is people. The Business Partnering team is strong and spans a wide range of experience across health and commercial roles. The core leadership task is calibrating to both ends of that range.

Key responsibilities include:
