Job summary

The Attorney-General's Department (AGD) is seeking an experienced and organised Executive Level 2 Officer to lead the Cabinet Section within the Strategy and Governance Branch. The successful candidate will support the development of policy and legislative proposals and ensure Cabinet processes are effectively managed.

Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing Cabinet submissions, preparing Cabinet comments, and building strong relationships across the department.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and reviewing Cabinet submissions.
• Experience drafting Cabinet comments is advantageous.
• Ability to work strategically and collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
