Grant Thornton Australia is shaping the next evolution of its cyber defend and operations capability. We are seeking a self-starting, commercially astute Director to help lead it in Australia.

Cyber defend and operations is evolving with AI, shaping advisory, implementation and managed services. The role requires translating strategy into practical services for clients and contributing to sales and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security operations centres, managed detection and response, or cyber defence teams.
• Experience evolving cyber defence and incident response services for clients.
• Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local evolution of cyber defend and operations capability for the Australian market.
• Advise clients on suitable cyber defence and operations models and go-to-market options.
• Own and shape service roadmap, onboarding experience and customer journey at scale.
• Collaborate with a global network while delivering locally differentiated offerings.
• Grow and develop a security operations team and guide career progression.
• Provide executive level escalation and decision support during major incidents.
• Identify opportunities across advisory, implementation and managed operations.
