Job summary

FTI Consulting seeks a Director with 5–8 years' experience to lead accounting advisory engagements in Australia. You will conduct analysis, apply IFRS standards, review contracts, and present findings to clients. You will manage day-to-day workstreams, mentor junior staff, and support business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Professional accounting experience, including audit or other assurance.
• Proficiency in English; strong report writing and communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the matter, define problems and design solutions with reporting, compliance and commercial objectives.
• Apply detailed knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting pronouncements.
• Review contracts and information to identify additional data for analysis.
• Interpret highly complex information including accounting and financial records.
• Draft client reports and presentations detailing scope, methodology and findings.
• Maintain day-to-day client contact and manage project planning.
• Supervise junior staff and coach teammates on engagements.
• Develop client relationships and assist senior team with business development.
