Job summary

Brookville Center for Children's Services (BCCS) invites applications for a Direct Support Professional at the Lido Beach location (SeaSpray). Schedule: Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat 2p-10p and Wed 3p-11p. This is a Full Time 40 Hr position with pay starting at $14.00 per hour, based on experience and education.

The role focuses on assisting individuals to participate in daily activities, promote health and safety, and support independence and meaningful community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Qualified NYS driver's license.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information.

Responsibilities

• Prac tices and promotes the agency's mission statement and principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to individuals in becoming active participants in daily life (self-care, health, safety, chores, socialization, overall well-being).
