Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently working towards
• Cert III Educators encouraged to pursue Diploma
• 1–2 years' experience in an early childhood setting
• Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS and National Regulations
• Current NSW Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis and Child Protection
• Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Create safe, engaging and inclusive learning environments
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
• Support programming, observations, documentation and intentional teaching
• Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and active supervision
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards of practice
• Support ratios and compliance requirements
• Contribute to the service's quality improvement journey
• Work in accordance with EYLF, NQS and National Regulations
