Job summary

Recruitment Hive is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a critical digital transformation initiative in Canberra. The role is an EL2-equivalent level focused on ICT project delivery in a governmental or government-adjacent context.

You will manage complex projects, develop and maintain project documentation, plan workflows, and build productive relationships with IT, policy and programs teams to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing complex IT and non-IT projects.
• Ability to apply project management methodologies and controls to organisational needs.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary business and technical teams.
• Strong risk awareness and balanced decision making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Planner.

Responsibilities

• Managing a range of complex project activities and coordinating projects.
• Developing and maintaining accurate project documentation including project plans and status reports.
• Contributing to planning, monitoring workflow and developing strategies and work practices.
• Providing project management expertise and training to other staff.
• Developing and managing relationships with IT, policy and programs stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
