Tradewind Australia is partnering with a respected independent grammar school in Melbourne's inner north-east to recruit a Digital Technologies Teacher. Initially a contract for remainder of 2026, with strong potential for ongoing employment.

The role requires delivering Digital Technologies aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, fostering a positive classroom environment, and contributing to a high-performing teaching team. Strong curriculum knowledge and contemporary tech pedagogy are valued.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
• Relevant teaching qualifications
• Demonstrated experience teaching Digital Technologies at secondary level
• Confidence teaching programming/coding (e.g., Python, Scratch, web-based development, robotics or similar)
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to evidence-based teaching and continuous professional learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full Australian working rights (applicants requiring employer sponsorship are unable to be considered)

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Digital Technologies learning programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse academic needs and learning profiles
• Teach core Digital Technologies strands such as computational thinking, data, digital systems, and programming
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Assess student progress and use data to inform teaching practice
• Build strong professional relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Work collaboratively within a faculty team to enhance student outcomes
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
