The Digital Solutions and Services team is seeking a collaborative, forward‑thinking ICT professional to step into our newly created Digital Systems Advisor role. This position is ideal for someone with strong business systems skills who enjoys leading others, improving systems, and delivering meaningful digital solutions.
As a Digital Systems Advisor, you will provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to your team, fostering a positive and high‑performing work environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, using a business partnering approach to understand their needs and develop ICT and business system solutions that improve processes, support risk management and align with strategic goals. A key part of your work will involve designing and delivering fit‑for‑purpose digital solutions, including configuring workflows and systems to support efficient business processes and measurable performance outcomes.
This is a fixed‑term full‑time position on a 3‑year contract.
You are a confident, motivated and people‑focused digital professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring experience across ICT, business systems or digital solutions—ideally within local government or a similar complex organisation—and you’re skilled at translating business needs into practical, well‑designed technology solutions. You have a natural ability to lead, mentor and support others, building a positive team culture grounded in respect, inclusiveness and high performance.
You understand information management principles, system security, workflow design and best‑practice project delivery, and you take a proactive, improvement‑focused approach to your work. Adaptable, organised and values‑driven, you embody the City’s commitment to safety, integrity and service excellence, and you’re ready to make a meaningful impact through digital transformation.
