Job description
What's the role?

As the perennial leader in Australian sports media, News Corp Australia requires a product team that is as passionate about shaping premium digital experiences as our readers are about their sports. As a Product Manager, you will deliver consumer-led product solutions across our websites and apps to increase consumer engagement, grow our audience reach and drive subscription growth. Reporting to the Head of Product for our State & Community pillar and working directly with the Sport Editorial and Audience Development teams, this role is essential to delivering a robust sport roadmap in one of the most dynamic and strategically important areas of the business.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with web and app development, UX, design, data analytics, and architecture teams to develop product solutions and prioritise features aligned with consumer and business goals.
  • Support business objectives by delivering the Sport roadmap in partnership with the broader State & Community Product and Network Sport teams, spanning Code Sports and the sport sections of national and regional publications.
  • Define and prioritise requirements to ensure product delivery meets the expectations of target markets, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the Head of Product with leading strategic initiatives, including creating and presenting product strategies and outcomes to business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate market trends and analyse product data to inform decisions and report on the impact of product improvements.
  • Monitor customer feedback and elevate issues to ensure bugs and customer concerns are resolved quickly and effectively.
Who are you?

3+ years’ experience as a Product Manager, with recent experience in a digital product environment. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Able to work autonomously and take ownership of product outcomes. Innovative, collaborative, and proactive in problem-solving. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, including the ability to build reports, interpret data, and extract actionable insights. Highly customer-centric in approach. Experience in digital media, ideally within the sports domain.
