Job summary

You’ll own newsletters, video content, and social media across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube while optimizing Shopify product pages and SEO. You’ll collaborate with a team to pitch bold ideas, receive mentorship on specialized astronomy content, and gain access to top-tier equipment.

Responsibilities

• Compose engaging newsletters combining promotions, upcoming astronomical events, and new product launches.
• Film and edit high-quality videos for YouTube channel, as well as short-form Reels and Shorts for social media.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns to maximize ROI.
• Develop and maintain the company's social presence—creating and scheduling content, engaging with audience, and analyzing performance across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Maintain website content on Shopify, ensuring product descriptions are correct, accurate, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
• Create digital design assets for website, social platforms, and email campaigns.

You will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, combining your creative skills with a passion for astronomy and astrophotography to engage our community of experts and enthusiasts.

Key responsibilities

Compose engaging newsletters combining promotions, upcoming astronomical events, and new product launches

Film and edit high-quality videos for YouTube channel, as well as short-form Reels and Shorts for social media

Monitor, manage, and optimize Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns to maximize ROI

About you

A passion for astronomy, astrophotography, or space science is highly regarded (or a strong willingness to learn the niche)

Basic experience filming and editing engaging video content

Competency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro/Photoshop/Illustrator or similar tools)

Knowledge of or experience with Shopify is a plus

Independent thinker with strong creative autonomy, alongside eagerness to receive direct tutoring and mentorship on creating highly specialized, technical astronomy content
