Jobbeschreibung

Pacific Blue is a leading owner, operator, and developer of renewable energy assets. We operate a high quality and diversified portfolio of wind, hydro, and solar assets, as well as offering a range of energy products, delivering value to our retail energy customer base. With the growing importance of renewable energy in Australia’s future, a career with us is more than just a job. You will be helping us to lead Australia towards a cleaner energy future.

The Role

This permanent role is central to Pacific Blue’s Retail function, responsible for driving digital growth by converting demand into completed customer sales across our retail brand, Tango Energy.

The Digital Growth Manager owns end-to-end digital conversion performance, ensuring our digital channels — including website and assisted (Chat) journeys — are optimised, high-performing, and compliant. This is a hands‑on role focused on conversion rate optimisation (CRO), experimentation, digital journey management, and platform performance, ensuring marketing-generated demand is efficiently converted into measurable outcomes.

Working closely with Marketing, IT, Product, and Compliance teams, the role balances commercial outcomes with customer experience, operational effectiveness, and regulatory requirements.

This is a full‑time hybrid position based in Melbourne.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Own end-to-end digital conversion performance across web and assisted (Chat) sales journeys, optimising funnels to reduce friction and abandonment
  • Establish and lead a structured CRO and experimentation program, using data, funnel analysis, and insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and execute experimentation roadmaps with clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and actionable learnings
  • Map and manage end-to-end digital customer journeys across segments, identifying opportunities to improve conversion and experience
  • Own CMS governance, including architecture, templates, components, and release processes to ensure stability, consistency, and compliance
  • Work with IT to monitor and improve platform performance including uptime, speed, and reliability
  • Manage website operations including testing, updates, vendor management, service tickets, and SLA adherence
  • Own and manage the digital Capex budget, including retainer and project spend
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to deliver effective digital content aligned to strategic priorities
  • Develop and maintain robust funnel measurement, attribution models, and performance reporting
  • Analyse digital performance data to generate insights, inform decision-making, and track key metrics
  • Ensure all digital activities meet regulatory and compliance obligations
Knowledge and experience:
  • More than 7+ years of Digital Sales experience, ideally in retail energy or similar industry.
  • More than 7+ years’ experience developing and leading customer-focused strategic plans and initiatives, ideally in retail energy or similar industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, strategy or marketing.
  • Business planning and project implementation.
  • Demonstrated strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimise commercial drivers in the development of sustainable business plans and achieve cost-effective outcomes.
Skills:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, tailor communication in a way that is meaningful to the audience and contribute to a safe, inclusive, high-performing culture – consistently modelling accountability, connectedness, innovation and care.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including ability to influence across all levels from executive leaders to frontline agents
  • Demonstrated creative, critical and systems thinking – looking to the future, questioning the status quo, generating ideas and making recommendations to solve organisational problems to support the business’ strategic and cultural priorities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others towards shared objectives, actively facilitate communication and two-way feedback across the business and create a safe, inclusive, high performing team culture – consistently modelling and enabling accountability, connection, innovation and care.
  • Ability to operationalise strategy, adapt quickly to disruption and successfully lead people through change – building a culture in which staff members actively contribute to the improvement of organisational practice.
  • Understanding of data and links to performance.
