Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Coordinator to join our Melbourne team. You will support large-scale projects across Building Services, Defence, Road Infrastructure and Rail, coordinating design models and ensuring timely delivery at the design level.

You’ll work with design teams, contractors, survey teams and asset information teams to implement DE requirements, maintain data quality and drive compliant project information throughout lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, construction, or architecture.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with ISO19650 and PAS1192/BS1192.
• Experience reviewing Digital Execution Plans (DEPs).
• Experience with point cloud data and survey information.
• Ability to resolve information gaps with design teams and asset information teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the quality and timely delivery of design models for large projects.
• Support the design review process and advise on DE requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams, contractors, survey teams and asset information teams to close gaps and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to continuing improvement of project information management and data validation.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Coordinator to join us in Melbourne. In this role, you will support large-scale projects within the Building Services, Defence, Road Infrastructure and Rail sectors across Australia.

You will be part of the Digital Engineering project delivery team at the design level, coordinating the quality and timely delivery of design models, supporting the design review process and collaborating with various stakeholders. You are passionate about Digital Engineering or BIM and have a proven background in either engineering, construction or architecture. With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you thrive in team environments and are dedicated to delivering high-quality service.

You will have the following Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of ISO19650, PAS1192 & BS1192
• Experience in reviewing Digital Execution plans and implementing DE requirements on projects
• Strong understanding and experience in working with Point cloud data and survey information
• Experience applying asset information requirements, including structure asset registers, naming conventions, classification, and data validation rules aligned to project information requirements
• Experience working with asset breakdown structures and location breakdown structures, including parent-child hierarchy, unique asset IDs, place IDs, room IDs and location codes
• Strong attention to detail with data quality, consistency, traceability and completeness of digital deliverables
• Ability to work closely with design teams, contractors, survey teams and asset information teams to resolve information gaps and compliance issues
