Job summary

3DS Group Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a permanent, full-time engineer to deploy digital tools for construction and design teams. You will manage BIM environments, run coordination meetings, chase issues to closure, and liaise with clients to advance project delivery.

Occasional site reviews and modelling tasks will be required to support project outputs and QA processes. The role requires a Diploma or Degree and at least one year of relevant experience, with a salary range of AUD 80,000–90,000

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree qualification and minimum 1 year of similar role experience.
• Experience with BIM tools and digital environments is required.
• Strong coordination and documentation skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Use digital tools to aid construction/design teams in project delivery.

Job Description

3DS Group Australia Pty Ltd Technical skills & requirements Use digital tools to aid construction/design teams in the delivery of the construction/design projects. Implementation of these tools may include Creation/Management of digital environments Management of digital tools (BIM360/ACC, Revit, Revizto, Navisworks BImCollab etc as needed) Creation of data representations/graphs depicting the status of the project at any time Chairing coordination meetings, issue of notes, minutes, summaries to the project team, following up where necessary. Follow up/close out of issues as needed.

Review, comment and chase down responsible persons for close out Liaison with clients, other design/construction team members to aid the progression of issues and the successful completion of the project digital implementation with the goal of maintaining repeat work with content clients Liaison with our internal team Help identify new employment prospects as well as help build the knowledge base of our team Occasional On site review of progress or attendance to help resolve issues that arise Occasional modelling input/project that will require your knowledge of authoring systems and work with the team to help produce that output/project Commitment to the ongoing of understanding of developing technologies and other trade information (i.e Building Services wide understanding, assisting QA Procedures, assisting in the software development opportunities) Assist on documentation and modelling of projects where necessary to maintain program or assist the process To be successful in this role you require a Diploma or Degree Qualification and minimum of 1 year's work experience in a similar role.
