Guidewire Digital Practice seeks a highly motivated Digital technical architect to work on cutting-edge insurance technology projects. You will design and implement web/mobile solutions, collaborating with UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused digital services.

You will mentor teams, champion innovation, and support migration efforts, including AngularJS to React, while traveling for onsite client engagements as required.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience with web technologies.

• Experience or willingness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system.

Job Description

The Guidewire Digital Practice is a group of highly motivated technology engineers, user experience designers, and domain experts working with insurance clients, InsurTechs and delivery partners in current, leading-edge technologies delivering exciting, customer-facing projects.

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital technical architect looking to work with current, leading-edge technology on challenging, customer focused consulting and implementation projects.

Guidewire's market-leading Digital products enable insurance carriers to build and

implement leading-edge sales and self-service digital capabilities. These capabilities provide Agents and Policy Holders interfaces to quickly and easily create and service insurance policies.

• Lead the design and development of web and mobile solutions using JavaScript, React (4-5+ years), and Guidewire’s Jutro design system.
• Collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver single-page applications and digital services.
• Apply expertise in CSS, SASS, automated unit testing (Jest/Enzyme), and server-side technologies (JSON/RPC, REST).
• Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Support migration projects from AngularJS to React and leverage UX prototyping tools (Invision, Sketch) as needed.
• Travel for onsite client engagements as required.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with web technologies.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience or willingness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.

• Able to demonstrate experience with building web/mobile services and single-page applications
• Effective communication and collaboration skills and experience interacting with team members and project sponsors
• Highly motivated, result-driven, and tenacious problem solver
• Fluent in Japanese
• Strong English skills

• Exposure to Figma, Invision, Sketch, or other UX prototyping tools
