Job summary

A healthcare organization in Sydney is seeking a part-time Dietitian to deliver person-centred care in a supportive environment. About the role
  • Provide evidence‑based, person‑centred dietetic care to patients.
  • Actively participate in clinical supervision.
  • Deliver individualised nutrition assessments and interventions.
  • Contribute to the development of educational resources in nutrition.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of nutrition research and best practice while working within a supportive, professional development‑focused environment.
About you
  • A degree in Nutrition and Dietetics recognised by Dietitians Australia, preferably with Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status. Overseas applicants must have completed the Dietitians Australia DSR process before applying.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing dietetic services in a hospital environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, as well as the ability to work independently when required.
  • Strong commitment to professional development, including a minimum of 30 hours of continuing professional development per year.
  • Proficient in using computer applications, including Cbord and Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent's hospital, Darlinghurst.
