Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on farm machinery and vehicles.
  • Diagnose faults and undertake mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs.
  • Maintain service records and logbooks using electronic systems.
  • Ensure all equipment meets compliance standards for road use and farm operations.
  • Manage workshop cleanliness, safety and inventory.
  • Assist with procurement of tools, parts and consumables.
  • Support training of staff in basic machinery checks and safe operations.
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings with the Farm Management Team.
  • Liaise with the Farm Manager to prioritise work and meet seasonal timelines.
