Programmed is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Albert Park, SA 5014. This casual role focuses on maintenance, diagnostics and repair of diesel engines for our fleet, with a 7am-5pm shift and pay at Au$42.00 per hour.

You will perform routine servicing, diagnose issues, conduct preventative maintenance, keep accurate records and uphold safety standards while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on different range of plant equipment to ensure they are running efficiently and safely
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, including but not limited to engine components, fuel systems, and exhaust systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance on diesel engines to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of the vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on diesel engines
• Overhaul diesel engines as needed to restore them to optimal conditionCollaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and find solutions
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when working on diesel engines
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in diesel engine technology and repair techniques
