McCosker Contracting is seeking reliable candidates for civil and heavy earthmoving roles in Cairns, QLD. The position offers a 2:1 roster with FIFO options. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with heavy machinery and a commitment to safety.

Job description

Location: Cairns, QLD 4870
Roster: 2 weeks on, 1 week off
Options: FIFO
Start Date: Immediate

Pay rates starting at $75 casual flat rate.

About the Role

This position is offered on a 2:1 roster, with Far North Queensland as the preferred point of hire, including Mareeba, Kuranda, Atherton, Port Douglas and surrounding areas. We encourage applications from local FNQ candidates, while also welcoming applications from Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton and Brisbane. Although the standard roster is 2:1, some flexibility may be available for candidates with the right skills and experience, particularly those based in Far North Queensland.
