DevSecOps Engineer - Major Defence Prime Business

Permanent position - $130,000 base salary plus extensive benefits
Adelaide based position (Melbourne-based applications also welcomed)
NV1 security clearance required - Australian citizens eligible for clearance encouraged to apply

Kinexus is a specialist defence and national security recruitment agency with over 25 years of working and specialising in the industry. We have partnered with a major defence prime with significant work with the ADF to support with recruitment on a large command and control program.

We are searching for a mid-level DevSecOps Engineer to support the enhancement and management of the development environment for this key C2 program. In this role you will:

• Deliver planned environment enhancements supporting development of the system.
• Monitor and resolve issues across the environment and defence systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC and containerised solutions.

What's needed from you:

• Active or eligibility for Australian security clearance (non-Australian citizens will not be considered for this position) and compliance with ITAR laws.
• A deep knowledge of the Australian Information Security Manual (ISM) and experience in defence or defence-aligned environments.
• Experience development and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible.
• Experience developing and managing containerised solutions with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Skills in monitoring and analytics tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of Linux, open-source applications and tools management.
