SSW is seeking a DevOps-focused Systems Administrator to join our Brisbane team for an on-site, full-time role. You will work on Microsoft Azure, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines, helping deliver real-world AI and cloud solutions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years IT experience, a relevant degree, Australian citizenship, and baseline security clearance readiness. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud systems on Azure.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions).
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Liaise directly with clients and support ongoing operations.

SSW is looking for a Systems Administrator with a background in DevOps to join our Brisbane team!

What You’ll Bring to the Role

We're looking for someone with solid technical foundations and a love for problem-solving.

Ideally, you have:

• At least 2 years of experience in IT and a relevant degree
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility for baseline security clearance

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

• Architecting cloud systems
• Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep)
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions)

A working knowledge of:

• Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS
• Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Office Suite
• PowerShell scripting and automation

• Familiarity with Hyper-V and Microsoft DPM is a bonus
• Strong skills in IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, and monitoring strategies
• Great communication skills and the confidence to liaise directly with clients
• A proactive mindset, you care about best practices and love improving systems
• Microsoft Certifications (or a willingness to earn them)
