Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a government agency focused on data, analytics, and public safety through innovative technology solutions.

You will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment, and implement Infrastructure as Code across multiple environments to drive reliability and security. A strong background in Azure DevOps and Git is essential, along with scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and YAML.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Strong Git source control and branching strategies.
• Hands-on IaC implementation experience.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and YAML.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment, testing, and release processes across development, test, and production environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using modern deployment frameworks.
• Support data science teams with source control, environment management, and deployment best practices.
• Monitor, optimise, and improve platform reliability, security, and performance.
• Provide technical guidance on DevOps processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
