Job summary

The Recruitment Alternative Ltd is seeking a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation and reducing repetitive work. You will partner with engineering teams to automate delivery processes and accelerate value realization.

You will build and maintain scripts and workflows across Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, and cloud integrations (Azure/AWS). Strong collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, Automation Engineering, Systems Engineering, MSP, SOC or similar technical operations roles.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs and webhooks.
• A practical mindset with a passion for solving operational problems through automation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical teams.

Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation rather than simply managing infrastructure.

In this role, you'll work closely with L1, L2 and L3 operational teams to identify inefficient processes, build practical automation solutions, and help engineers spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time delivering value.
