Qualifications

  • Kubernetes deployments with kubectl, Helm, Kustomize.
  • DevOps practices and engineering processes.
  • CI/CD pipelines using FluxCD, ArgoCD or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Designing automated software tests.
  • Knowledge of LLM concepts.
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and automate integration pipelines that connect microservices, APIs, and legacy systems across environments.
  • Develop and automate CI, CD, and deployment processes for integrated systems.
  • Implement and maintain API management, service mesh, message broker, and middleware components.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve runtime integration performance and reliability.
  • Analyse, mitigate, and document security risks related to integration points and DevOps.
  • Design and deploy software on Kubernetes and ensure stable containerised integrations.
  • Perform fault finding and resolve ad-hoc integration issues to prevent downtime.
  • Implement new technologies and integration patterns in a DevOps environment.
  • Develop and maintain automated integration and end-to-end tests.

We have Multiple Opportunities for DevOps Engineers to join Boeing. In this role you will bridge system and application integration with DevOps practices—delivering resilient, automated, and secure integration pipelines and runtime platforms that enable rapid delivery of integrated capabilities.

Your day-to-day role will include:
  • Design, build, and automate integration pipelines that connect microservices, APIs, and legacy systems across environments.
  • Develop and automate continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes for integrated systems.
  • Implement and maintain API management, service mesh, message broker, and middleware components to support inter-service communication.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve runtime integration behaviors, performance, and reliability.
  • Analyse, mitigate, and document security risks and vulnerabilities related to integration points and DevOps processes.
  • Design and deploy software capabilities on Kubernetes container orchestration platforms and ensure stable integrations in containerised environments.
  • Perform fault finding and resolve ad-hoc integration and deployment issues to prevent system downtime.
  • Implement new technologies, frameworks, and integration patterns in a DevOps environment.
  • Develop and maintain automated integration and end-to-end tests to validate system interactions.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Kubernetes and other associated cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes deployments with kubectl, Helm, Kustomize or similar.
  • Knowledgeable in DevOps practices.
  • Familiar with engineering processes and standards.
  • Skilled in CI/CD pipeline development with FluxCD, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD or similar.
  • Capable of designing automated software tests
  • Knowledge of LLM and the underlying concepts
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field
