Job summary

Assurant is seeking casual Device Care Centre team members in Auburn, NSW to support the repair, refurbish and preparation of mobile devices for reuse. You will diagnose devices, perform quality checks, and prepare stock for dispatch in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Ideal candidates bring basic computer skills, strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset. Availability Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:00pm, with potential for growth within a leading global services company.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or device handling experience (preferred but not essential).
• Experience with mobile devices or repairs (advantageous).
• Availability Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use multiple systems.
• Good communication skills and a team‑first mindset.
• Able to stand for extended periods and handle stock safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform quality checks on mobile devices
• Data wipe and configure devices using internal systems
• Assist with device customisation and processing
• Label, document, and verify devices accurately
• Prepare stock and shipments for dispatch
• Meet productivity targets (KPIs/SLAs) while maintaining quality
• Support stock handling, stocktakes, and general warehouse tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines

What's the role about?

Our Device Care Centres (DCCs) repair, refurbish, and prepare mobile devices and electronics for reuse, including supporting trade-in programs for major partners.

As we head into our peak period starting from August, we're looking for casual DCC Team Members to join our Auburn team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, tech‑focused environment.
