Qualifications

Mach Green is an emerging, Melbourne based property developer that is well financed and growing. Mach Green works with the best consultant team in town and prides itself on delivering exceptional places that allow all people, businesses and the environment to thrive. With the imminent launch of its latest project, Mach Green is seeking an experienced DM/SDM to oversee delivery of the current pipeline and support the business as it continues to grow.

About the Role

This is a hands on role with direct responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects with day to day responsibilities including:

  • Accountability for the programme, budget, and feasibility to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Manage the planning and authority approval process through strong stakeholder engagement to ensure approvals are achieved in line with programme.
  • Manage the consultant team through the design development process with a focus on creating value for the project and the community.
  • Oversee contractor procurement and tendering of works packages, making recommendations to the owner on contractor selection.
  • Monitor and report on program, budget, and cashflow.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships including engagement with the local council, authorities, project partners, consultants and builders.
  • Provide support to the sales and marketing team on pricing, competitor analysis and release strategies.
About You
  • 7+ years’ experience in greenfield or broadacre land development as a Development Manager or Senior Development Manager.
  • Demonstrated success managing residential subdivisions and medium density projects in Victoria.
  • Commercially-minded with strong financial acumen (EstateMaster experience highly regarded). You know which levers to pull to drive financial performance.
  • Confident communicator and stakeholder manager, both internally and externally.
  • Hands‑on, energetic and proactive – you enjoy being in the detail, rolling up your sleeves and getting things done.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, Planning, Engineering or another related field.
  • Hit the ground running and lead your own live projects from day one.

Salary in the $150,000 – $180,000 package range (negotiable based on experience).
