Job summary

A leading financial services client is seeking an experienced Developer/Engineer to enhance their fraud prevention platforms. This role involves building scalable applications on the Palantir Foundry and ensuring system performance. Required skills include experience with Palantir Foundry, strong programming in Python and JavaScript, and knowledge of DevOps tools. This position is based in New South Wales, Australia and offers an opportunity to work on critical fraud detection initiatives.

Job description

Our leading financial services client is looking for a experienced Developer / Engineer to play a key role in advancing their fraud prevention platforms. You will be responsible for building and enhancing applications that drive key fraud prevention initiatives, keeping them robust, scalable, and ready to meet future challenges.

You will work hands-on with the Palantir Foundry platform to design, develop, and maintain applications, while ensuring the overall performance, and reliability of the environment. Your work will directly contribute to improving fraud detection and prevention capabilities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain scalable applications and workflows within the Palantir Foundry platform.
  • Optimise system performance, ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, and resilient.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and platform usability.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents quickly.
Skills & Experience
  • Must have experience developing on Palantir Foundry.
  • Experience with DevOps tools Jenkins, Git, Docker.
  • Strong programming skills in languages Python, JavaScript, and Pyspark.
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, data modelling, and performance tuning.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast paced environment.
