Job description

Our client is one of Australias big players in the timber truss andframe industry with a wide network of fabricators all over the country. This role represents an opportunity to work for a family-owned business who will valueyour skills and contribution to their ongoing success. To this end we are seeking a Detailing Software Expert to join their operations on the northern Gold Coast.

Our ideal candidate will be an existing timber detailer / estimator with experience in related software (Pryda Build Mitek Sapphire or Multinail Cornerstone) and is looking for the next step in their career. This role will focus on working with the technological background of detailing software to ensure that the end product is at the high standard our client is renowned for.

On a day-to-day basis your duties will include :

• Software testing and identification of problems
• Research and understanding of customer issues
• Establishing testing processes and policies
• Working closely between departments to ensure an unrivalled product
• Working with external parties and contractors to ensure needs are met

In order to succeed you will possess the following :

• Previous experience as a detailer in the timber truss / frame space essential
• Proven high-level skills with related software Pryda Build / Mitek Sapphire / Multinail Cornerstone
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• An ability to engage and work with stakeholders at all levels and external parties
• An affinity with software / IT concepts
