Job summary

Mesh & Bar, an Australian manufacturer and supplier of reinforcing steel products, is seeking a reliable Despatch Coordinator to join our busy operations team. This 6-month maternity leave cover offers potential for permanent opportunities.

You will organise daily deliveries, coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff, process orders and prep delivery documents, and liaise with production to confirm stock.

Qualifications

• Experience in despatch, transport or warehouse administration.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and basic computer skills.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities in a busy environment.
• A practical, reliable attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Experience in manufacturing, steel or construction materials would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Organising daily deliveries, truck loads and transport bookings.
• Liaising with drivers, customers and warehouse staff.
• Processing orders and preparing delivery documentation.
• Coordinating stock availability with production and inventory teams.
• Resolving delivery enquiries and keeping despatch records up to date.
