The City of Rockingham in Rockingham, WA seeks a skilled Design Engineer (Civil) to join our Design Services team and contribute to civil infrastructure projects for roads, pavements, drainage, car parks and coastal facilities.

You will prepare designs, drawings, quantities, cost estimates and construction documentation while complying with standards, and work with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated ability to prepare civil engineering designs, drawings, quantities, cost estimates and construction documentation.
• Experience using Civil 3D and AutoCAD; strong word processing and spreadsheets.

We are seeking a skilled DesignEngineer (Civil) to join our Design Services team.

In this role, you will prepareand develop civil infrastructure designs for roads, pavements,drainage systems, car parks, reserves, coastal facilities and othercommunity assets. You will contribute to the delivery of the City'sCapital Works Program by preparing concept and detailed designs,drawings, quantities, cost estimates and construction documentationwhile ensuring compliance with relevant standards and industry bestpractice. The successful applicant will bring strong civil designknowledge, excellent communication skills, sound computer skillsincluding Microsoft Office, and the ability to work bothindependently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders,consultants, contractors and the community to achieve successfulproject outcomes.

To be considered for thisrole, you must address the following selection criteria whensubmitting your online application:

• Sound knowledge of road andpavement design, stormwater drainage design, traffic managementand associated civil infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability toprepare civil engineering designs, drawings, quantities, costestimates and construction documentation
• Considerable experienceusing Civil 3D and AutoCAD design software, word processing andspreadsheets
• Diploma in CivilEngineering, or an equivalent/relevant qualification orsubstantial directly related experience

We are offering a remunerationpackage from $102,707 to $110,461, depending onskills and experience and:

• 12% superannuation with theoption to co-contribute up to a further 5%
