Job summary

7-Eleven Australia seeks an experienced Design Manager to join the Melbourne design team. You will oversee store development projects, ensure adherence to design standards, and support BIM delivery across the network.

Role collaborates with internal teams (property, construction) and external consultants; BIM responsibilities include Revit model standards, delivery, and data quality. Role starts January 2027 and offers hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in BIM, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience as BIM Manager, Design Manager, or Digital Delivery role within retail, commercial, or similar sectors.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and BIM 360 / ACC.
• Strong understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and local planning regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert during concept design, schematic design, and construction documentation stages.
• Assist with feasibility design and store layouts using Revit software.
• Complete store walks, site assessments and review and signoff all concept designs.
• Ensure external signage partner has all signage disciplines delivered to spec and Australian Standards.
• Review and approve all design documentation for compliance with brand, operations, and local codes.
