Job summary

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is offering a Medical Practitioner position in dermatology within Lyell McEwin & Modbury Hospitals, Elizabeth Vale & Modbury. The role is part-time (19 hours per week) with a total indicative remuneration of AUD 118,024–190,058 per annum pro rata.

You must hold MBBS and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia. Entitlements and rotations are defined under SA Health agreements.

Qualifications

• Must hold MBBS or equivalent.
• Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
• Total term of employment is 3 years with rotations after the first 12 months; may transfer to other SA Health locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert dermatological care to the community, working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to teaching and research initiatives in dermatology.
• Engage with a diverse range of dermatology cases across the network.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

In this role, you'll provide expert dermatological care to our community, working alongside multidisciplinary teams committed to excellence. This role offers exposure to diverse cases whilst contributing to teaching and research initiatives that shape the future of dermatological practice.

As per the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Medical Practitioner will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
