Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist physicians and staff in a high-volume environment. You will handle prescription fulfillment, inventory, insurance forms, and patient records while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a retail setting, active license, and proficiency with pharmacy software and EHR systems. Dermatology-focused experience is a plus; benefits include comprehensive coverage and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license, registration, or certification in the applicable state at the time of hire.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Experience with prescription fulfillment, medication dispensing workflows, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and pharmacy billing processes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively assist patients and address inquiries.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet prescription center customers and provide exemplary customer service.
• Direct contact with third parties to resolve insurance issues.
• Prepare medications by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and restocking inventory.
• Calculate and measure medications; verify prescriptions.
• Participate in the fulfillment process and prescription center support responsibilities.
• Maintain patient profiles/records and complete insurance forms.
• Ensure proper flow and documentation of prescription fulfillment at all times.
• Maintain appropriate drug and supply levels and quality assurance records.
