Job summary

The Skin Hospital in Darlinghurst is seeking a Registered Nurse for perioperative care in our specialised dermatology day surgery facility. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative care for dermatology procedures.

We value ongoing education and a collaborative culture, with Monday–Friday hours and no overnight shifts, offering great opportunities in a not-for-profit setting for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA RN registration.
• Minimum three years' post-registration nursing experience.
• Demonstrated perioperative nursing experience in scrub/scout, anaesthetics and/or recovery.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in dermatology and skin cancer surgery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care across the patient journey.
• Perform duties in scrub/scout, anaesthetics and recovery.
• Support the smooth operation of theatre lists and procedural clinics.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety and quality standards.
• Participate in ongoing education, training and professional development activities.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and patient-focused culture.
