Job summary

Clinica Lase is seeking an experienced Dermal Clinician to join its nurse-led, evidence-based clinic in Melbourne. You will perform comprehensive consultations, develop personalised treatment plans and safely deliver advanced skin treatments using lasers, IPL, RF microneedling and peels.

The successful candidate will hold a Dermal Therapy or nursing qualification, demonstrate clinical excellence, client safety, and exceptional service while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Health Science in Dermal Therapy or Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Strong hands-on experience with lasers, IPL, RF microneedling, chemical peels and advanced skin treatments.
• Sound clinical knowledge and ability to make evidence-based treatment decisions.
• Exceptional commitment to client safety, treatment quality and attention to detail.
• Impeccable customer service and ability to make clients feel understood and cared for.
• Warm, articulate communication skills and ability to explain clinical information clearly.
• Quick-learning mindset and ability to master new technologies, protocols, products and systems.
• Curious and thoughtful approach to skin with desire to continue learning.
• Proactive, positive attitude and excellent energy; work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, skin assessments and evidence-based treatment planning.
• Develop personalised treatment plans considering concerns, presentation, suitability, expectations and long-term skin health.
• Safely perform a broad range of advanced skin, laser and energy-based treatments.
• Work confidently with laser and IPL technologies, RF microneedling, advanced skin treatments and chemical peels.
• Apply strong clinical reasoning and adapt treatment plans as needed.
• Identify contraindications and maintain meticulous standards across consultation, consent, documentation and treatment delivery.
• Educate clients about their skin, treatment options, outcomes, aftercare and home care.
• Recommend evidence-based skincare products as part of a complete treatment plan.
• Closely monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records.
• Collaborate with dermal clinicians, nurses, doctors and the wider clinic team.
• Contribute to clinical discussions, team education and ongoing protocol improvement.
• Provide an exceptional client experience at every stage of the client journey.
