Chatham Financial in Sydney is seeking a derivatives documentation expert to develop deep regulatory and documentation expertise across ISDA master agreements, schedules, and related documents. You will advise clients and internal teams on contract terms and market standards.

The role focuses on APAC regulatory and derivatives matters, supporting clients in real estate, private equity, infrastructure, corporate and emerging markets with training and practical guidance.

Competenze

• Legal qualification preferred. 7+ years of relevant experience in contract review, finance, derivatives, or capital markets (Legal Qualification may substitute for up to 3 years of experience).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong linguistic abilities.
• Critical thinking with the ability to read and comprehend complex information quickly.
• Attention to detail but also an ability to synthesize information with a high-level perspective.

Mansioni

• Develop deep expertise about ISDA agreements, other derivatives documentation, and market standards governing our clients’ derivative transactions.
• Negotiate contract terms with bank counterparties on behalf of clients.
• Analyse global derivatives regulation and communicate its practical implications.
• Create internal and external tools to share subject matter expertise and keep teams informed.
