Job summary

Officeworks Ipswich is seeking a Retail Department Leader to drive customer experiences and lead the front-line team with energy and a can-do attitude.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with store leadership, ensure products are well-presented, and deliver consistent service that reflects our Bigger Things mindset and community focus. You will also contribute to rostering, coaching, and operational excellence to keep the store performing at its best.

About the role

As a Retail Department Leader, you will:

• Let your customer service skills shine by being a solutions expert. Go beyond transactions. Listen actively, understand customer needs, and confidently offer complete solutions that make their experience exceptional.
• Partner with the store leadership team to energize and motivate your crew. Help unlock their potential and drive performance by connecting daily actions to meaningful customer outcomes.
• Lead with purpose by mentoring and training your team. Share your knowledge, build their confidence, and guide them to become trusted retail rockstars who deliver real value to every customer.
• Keep the store looking sharp and well-stocked. Ensure every product is ready and available so customers can find exactly what they need, because the right solution starts with the right presentation.

When it comes to supporting our customers with the latest products, our passionate sales team are here to provide expert knowledge and advice to help them find the right solution to suit their needs.
