Located at Melton Health and Community Services, our modern, purpose-built clinic features 4 public treatment chairs and 8 dedicated student training chairs.

As our Dentist (Level 2–3), you will practice pure, evidence-based dentistry within a collaborative, academic environment. You will treat diverse clinical presentations—including complex medical histories, patients living with disabilities, and special-needs groups—while shaping the next generation of oral health professionals through student teaching and clinical mentorship.

Your Clinical Remit & Scope

Working within an energetic, multi-chair clinic alongside senior dentists, oral health therapists, and dental assistants, your responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver direct diagnostic, restorative, endodontic, oral surgery, and prosthodontic services tailored to eligible public health patients.
• Special Needs & Complex Cases: Manage patients presenting with complex medical backgrounds, physical and cognitive disabilities, and acute dental emergencies within the scope of public hospital dental services.
• Clinical Education & Mentorship: Provide guidance, clinical supervision, and chairside teaching to undergraduate dental students utilizing our 8 dedicated student chairs.
• Multidisciplinary Integration: Liaise with Western Health medical teams, acute hospital units, and specialist referral networks to ensure coordinated systemic and oral healthcare.
• Governance & Digital Health: Maintain meticulous digital records in the Titanium Patient Management System, contributing to continuous quality audits and accreditation under the Best Care framework.
