Acacia Dental Surgery in Darwin is seeking a Full-time OHT (4-5 days per week). We welcome experienced or new graduates to join our two-chair practice with QIP accreditation and state-of-the-art equipment including Trios 5, CBCT, OPG and implants.
You will receive one-on-one mentoring from the principal dentist, who actively teaches in the CDU program. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

We are looking for an experienced or recent graduate to join our team in Acacia Dental Surgery.
We are a two-chair practice with full QIP accreditation and state of the art equipment and technology including Trios 5 scanner, CBCT and OPG, rotary endodontics, Strauamann implant system and intraoral cameras. We are a team of two dentists and a supportive experienced team. Our patients are very friendly and understanding. Sometimes their appreciation of your efforts is more rewarding than the fee they pay!
The mentoring in the practice will be done by the principal dentists (a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons with 28 years of experience in private practice who is currently involved with Charles Darwin University program for OHT as a clinical tutor). The principal dentist who works part time and allocates his non-working days to mentoring the new associate. This has been done in the past with the current associate and candidates are welcome to speak to the current associate to discuss the level of mentorship and the hours the principal dentist allocates to mentoring.
We are neither a cooperation nor have a cooperate atmosphere in our practice. Our current staff members have been with the practice for the past three or more years. The principal dentist is always available and helpful. The staff and the dentists share a friendly and hassle-free atmosphere to solely focus on patients and enjoy providing good care for appreciative patients.

The city is made up of a large number of tall buildings and well-designed areas including the famous and popular waterfront beach with many restaurants and cafes, The Mall, the parliament house, stoke hill wharf, great cycling tracks, nighttime markets and many tourist destinations.
It is a friendly city with a large insurgence of tourists during the dry season months. The city has several night clubs, Bars, many restaurants and Cafes.
